King Edward Medical College Alumni of UK

Dear Colleagues

All of you are aware of the devastation caused by floods
in Pakistan. It is also clear that we the Pakistanis will
have to rebuild our country ourselves and rise to support
those in need.

KEMCA members and Executives are active in their
individual and collective efforts to raise funds and
support initiatives to assist in relief work. We have
raised some funds but more are needed as the need is
enormous.

KEMCA is planning to put togather a team of doctors to
directly assist in relief efforts. Dr Adeel Iqbal will be
leading this team and it plans to leave as soon as
possible. If you wish to join in this noble cause please
contact us or Adeel at (adeel.iqbal@bradford.nhs.uk
Tel: 07908658645).

We will follow up this initial outreach work with further
visits to the effected areas in late August, September and
October. Some KEMCA members are organising courses in
communicable diseases with CPSP. We are supporting KEMU
frontline teams and student organisations.

It is apparent that we have to be self reliant and assist
in rehabilitation of communities and lands.

So join us in this effort. Please contribute in kind or
funds to this effort. If you wish to contribute please
send your charity by bank transfer to the address below
with an email to Dr Dr Tufail Toor at:
mtufailtoor@hotmail.co.uk so you can be sent a reciept.
KEMCA UK is registered Charity with Charity Commission.
